Former Chairman of Offa Local Government Area, Hon Saheed Popoola has returned to the ruling APC.
Hon Saheed who served as Commissioner for Sports during the first term of Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed as governor of Kwara State was a member of the state house of assembly from 2019 to 2023. He had defected to the SDP and he was the party’s reps candidate for Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun federal constituency in the 2023 general election.
He announced his return to the APC penultimate Friday and apologized to Governor Abdlrahman Abdulrazaq and other party leaders.
