Our dear esteemed readers, clients, business partners and well-wishers. This is to formally announce that the 2023 edition of Prime Excellence Recognition Awards, marking the 5th edition will come up on Sunday, the 10th of December. Venue is the prestigious and octane Lagos Airport Hotel & Suites, Obafemi Awolowo Way in Ikeja. Time is 2pm for red carpet while event starts proper at 3pm.

As usual, our grand patron, His Imperial Majesty, Alayeluwa Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi would lead notable traditional rulers and cultural ambassadors to the event while our ever dependable and reliable mother, the Iyalaje Oodua Worldwide Princess Dr. Toyin Kolade, the Chief Executive Officer of Fisolak Global Resources who also doubles as the Patroness of PERA alongside His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Amb. Olusegun Aderemi, the Atayero of Aramoko-Ekiti Kingdom in Ekiti State would also be on hand to represent our great Youruba culture as usual.


Considering the fact that this is the 5th edition of this noble award event, the management and organizing committee of PERA, thoughtfully and thoroughly went through the achievements of our nominees, scrutinized their integrity and personality in the society, researched on their contributions to the wellbeing of humanity (a sort of their corporate social responsibilities (CSRs) and their impact on national economy. Though, the task was tough and somehow rigorous, we were able to come up with a list of distinguished personalities, democratically inclined government bodies and reputable corporate organizations. Winners of this year’s PERA awards cut across all facets of the Nigerian and global economic space and these include banking, business, manufacturing, real estate, oil and gas, entrepreneurship, entertainment and sports. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are not also left out as we realized the vital needs of recognizing and appreciating their selfless service towards transforming the lives of the poor, the needy, widows, widowers, orphans, the frustrated, the homeless and the impoverished members of our larger society.


As we are all aware that the year 2023 came with a lot of economic challenges with the most threatening being the cashless policy era as orchestrated by the former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other issues, but the nation still find a way of escaping the ordeals. This is what prompted us at PERA to commend the gallant efforts of our winners for being able to weather the storms and came out unruffled, achieving their goals and aspirations during the year under review. As we are bidding goodbye to 2023, we decided to gather our distinguished winners and guests under the octane roof of the Lagos Airport Hotel in Ikeja to celebrate our awardees and felicitate with ourselves for witnessing the end of a somehow, tortuous year. For us at PERA, the celebration is worth its onion.

Nollywood stars and veterans that have won the award are, Toyin Adegbola (Asewo to re Mecca), Madam Idowu Philips (Mama Rainbow), Mrs. Doyin Hassan (Iya Awero), Samson Eluwole (Pa Jinadu), Segun Aderemi (Chief Kanran) and music stars like veteran Fuji maestro Adewale Ayuba, Juju ace Wale Thompson, Gospel crooner Lanre Teriba (Atorishe) and more have also bagged Prime Excellence Recognition Awards in the past.


At PERA, this is a way of ending the year in absolute funfair, thoughtful and encouraging lectures and ground shaking entertaining performance from one of Nigeria’s most creative Fujician, Ahmed Ademola Aderopo a.k.a A1 De Fortunate who will definitely turn the hall in awe with his scintillating performances.
