Smarting from his shock as a result of an order by the Appeal Court today that his candidature as the flag bearer of Ondo PDP in the November 26, 2016 governorship election be relinquished for Eyitayo Jegede, billionaire businessman, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim, has headed to the Supreme Court hoping for a reversal of the ruling.

Eyitayo Jegede is the preferred candidate of the incumbent governor, Olusegun Mimiko.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had asked the Appeal Court to determine the case which was taken to it by the factional chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Ali-Modu Sheriff in which Jimoh Ibrahim belongs.

Jegede belongs in the Ahmed Makarfi faction.

Insisting on his right to the ticket, Jimoh Ibrahim today told the press that he would not allow Mimiko to succeed himself in this battle.
