Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq penultimate week congratulated veteran journalist and broadcaster, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde Akanbi on his 64th birthday, calling him a respected community leader, media activist, and a fine gentleman who enjoys the confidence of many stakeholders.
The governor said the veteran broadcaster has remained a source of positive inspiration for young professionals, especially those in the dynamic media industry where he has been a charismatic leader and mentor for years.
‘His Excellency joins family, friends, and media fraternity to celebrate Alhaji Mohammed Tunde Akanbi on this joyous occasion. Alhaji Tunde Akanbi has paid his dues as a media professional and personality. He is passionate about the growth of the industry as well as his community, Ilorin, and this reflects in his carriage, even in retirement. It is not surprising therefore that he now leads the Kwara State chapter of the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ).
