That the Nigeria National Football Team, Super Eagles defeated the Iceland team at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia on Friday is no longer news. President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki and some members of the Senate who are currently in Russia on a parliamentary visit were at the stadium to encourage the team. Saraki, before the match began, visited the team and interacted with them. Supporters of the senate president took to the social media to promote talks that the 2-0 win over Iceland was because the Saraki’s spirit was good and that it was through his influence that the 2-0 win was secured. Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio on the screen jumped up and back-slapped the NFA Chairman in celebration when Musa delivered the second goal.
