CEO of Quincy Herbals, Chief (Mrs.) Quincy Ayodele, is 60. Because turning 60 is a milestone that everyone loves to celebrate, the beautiful socialite is marking it big on Saturday, 26th of January, 2019, in faraway United Arab Emirate city of Dubai.
For the ageless Quincy, life does not end at 60, actually; it just begins. That, she says, is the spirit behind her moving this year’s celebration outside the coasts of Africa where she hopes to have more fun with family, friends and business associates.
“It can be so much fun hosting your friends away from home because birthday should be treated like a big deal. I had been marking my birthdays in Nigeria. Although, I had a plan to celebrate 60th outside the country, not in Dubai, my children decided to change the plan; they insisted on Dubai and suggested a more decorative get-together with friends and family members from Nigeria,” Quincy stated during a chat with journalists at her Ikeja, Lagos office penultimate week.
The birthday party would take place at Atlantis, The Palm Jumeirah, Crescent Road, with Senator Daisy Danjuma chairing the occasion. The 4-day long events started on Friday (today) 25th with a visit to the Dubai Desert Tour followed by pre-birthday dinner. Saturday 26th will be the 60 dinner party.
“My believe is that celebrating birthdays really doesn’t have to be about you, it becomes a celebration of your life and the people in it. It’s also a great way to make sure you see everyone every year,” she says.
Meanwhile, the Quincy Herbals, is wearing a new look. Mrs. Ayodele who for twenty two years has been the face of the brand and has built an amazing career in the alternative medicine practice, would now be operating in the background, while one of her daughters, Mrs. Tobi Ayodele- Keeney, takes charge as the managing director.
Quincy told newsmen that the brand which originally started as an herbal weight loss company before developing to an all-natural skin treatment services, would be under the watch of young, vivacious and innovative Ayodele-Keeney who possesses the competence to preserve the standard and even update the mode of service to keep up with the rapidly changing market preferences.
