Zimbabwean music celebrity Terrence Kwenda, popularly known as Terry has received a recognition award from his employers, the Zimbabwe college of music as a hardworking employee, recognising his commitment and dedication to his duties for the college.

 

 

Terry who received the award on Friday the 27th of May 2022, announced it to his teeming fans and well wishers today in celebration of the honour, giving thanks to God almighty.

 

 

It will be recalled that Terry released the visuals to his Queendom narrative, titled “Mambokadzi”, on the 30th of March, 2022 where he made an illustration of a Princess, who found love in a not well to do young man. An idea which did not go down well with the Queen-mother and sparked chaos within the palace. Terry is a conscious writer who’s creativity is inspired by every day life realistic experience.

 

 

His outstanding achievement so far is been nominated at two different categories, at the 2021 edition of Zimbabwe music award. Terry looks forward to performing at more events within and outside Zimbabwe, he is no doubt targeting the international music scene, while he also looks forward to collaborating and engaging with other quality music brands within and outside Africa.

 

 

The visuals to Terry’s “Mambokadzi” was directed by himself together with Masicker media and was shot in Goromonzi, a few minutes location from Harare in Zimbabwe. While the song was produced by Austin Mhlanga popularly known as the Prince of the South. Other entertainers that took part in the production and visuals to Terry’s “Mambokadzi” are Carlos Taraswa, Thulani Machisa, Mustawache Tevedzai, Pamela Bvumburai, Charles Chakanetsa, Laura Mucharuona, Tinotenda Munguni, Isaac Nyamuteya and Elisha Nyamuteya.
