Nigerian Afrobeat megastar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid has hit a new milestone on YouTube with his hit song “Joro”.
Wizkid is no news to breaking records and he has made some historical achievements in his music career that have put the nation on the map in international music scene map.
September 30th, 2019, Wizkid blessed the airwaves with a Northboi-produced masterpiece captioned, “Joro” alongside its official music video.
The music video for “Joro,” which Adriaan Louw directed was shot in Lagos and London.
The concept of the video is that Big Wiz uses his music to create a spiritual connection with people.
The vibrant and attractive music video which was released in 2019 has now surpassed 200 million views on the social media and online video sharing platform, YouTube.
With this, Wizkid has now joined artistes like Burna Boy and Davido who each has two music videos that have received more than 200 million views. Burna Boy has “On The Low” while Davido has “Fall“.
