The President of Vanguard Network For All Progressives Congress (APC), Princess Omolola Priscilla, has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he aims to fulfill his campaign promises right on time.

In a statement she personally signed on Friday, August 25, 2023 and sent out to the media, Omolola highlighted some of the policies of the Tinubu’s government, saying the current administration has good vision that is people-oriented and capable of reviving the economy.

“President Bola Tinubu has disppassionately embarked on an anti-corruption fight, diversification of the economy, unification of the official and parallel market rates of foreign exchange to save the country from financial hemorrhage and has also put a stop to the conduit pipe of corruption known as fuel subsidy. His Excellency has good vision for the citizenry that are people-oriented and he has started well,” Omolola said.

“This confidence with which we canvass support for Mr President is evidence based. Even while managing the disaster he inherited from the past governments we are optimistic that things will turn around positively in no time.

“Tinubu’s government has equally not left out the vulnerable segments of the society when his administration removed the fuel subsidy by rolling out social investment programmes to reduce the sufferings of the masses, especially the poorest of the poor in the country.”

Omolola added that the President has shown that he has the wherewithal to make a difference in governance by assembling patriots as aides and Ministers who share in his laudable dreams and aspirations for the country.

While appealing to Nigerians to continue to support the current administration, the Ondo indigene stated: “Tinubu has come to lay a solid foundation and all of us from the diaspora who campaigned and mobilised for him during the last February election and convinced that he will deliver. We pray to God to guide and protect him so that he can succeed in the interest of all, irrespective of their ethnic, religious or political background.”
