It was a gathering of who -is – who in the sound engineering profession as the host, AIG Giwa Osagie facilitated the first ever sound engineers hangout at Fola Jinadu Playground, Gbagada, Lagos on Monday 25th March 2024.
The gathering however witnessed the presence of both legendary and upcoming sound engineers.
Speaking with journalists, the host, Giwa Osagie urged the government to come to their aid of sound engineers ” the government should come and help us, we are suffering due to improper equipment to match our standard, ” I can tell you categorically that we can’t do a proper international show, we have the gear, we have the technical but we have more technical than the gear.we need the gear and we need to move round the country” Moreover, Osagie also called on the Banks to come into the sector to understand.
