Song Controversy: 9ice Vows To Grab Grammy!

Nine years after making the promise, Alapomeji crooner, 9ice has reminded fans that he’s still all about the Grammy business.

The star singer is by his new album, ‘Living Things’, which sparked controversy over the ‘Shashe’ track, saying that his predictions in one of his old albums, ‘Street Credibility’,  are not just lyrics but he definitely had plans in bringing home Grammy Award.

9ice also made statement relating to thi9ice recently on his Instagram page. Also, in a TV show, ‘Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’ on Sunday, 16th of July, 2017, the crooner stated that he meant everything he sang about Grammy in ‘Street Credibility’.

9ice has been in the music industry for close to a decade and his dream from onset was to bring home an international award. Now, he says, “I run my race at my pace. When the time is right, it’ll happen.”

Explaining the ‘Shashe’ slang in his latest album, the indigenous hip hop artiste explained that ‘Shashe’ in ‘Living Things’ is an advanced name for “Shishe” and that “Wire-Wire” is a means whereby people make ‘wire-able’ transactions that are usually conducted at night by investors of Bitcoin, Forex and the likes.
