A young man in Kogi State has reportedly been arrested by his own father after a controversial video in which he declared he could “sacrifice his parents for the All Progressives Congress (APC)” went viral online.
The young man, identified on social media as Mc Isa Aha had posted the video earlier this week.
In the clip, he made the shocking statement that quickly sparked outrage and heated reactions across various platforms.
The video spread rapidly, drawing condemnation from many Nigerians who described the comment as disturbing and reckless. Several users criticised what they saw as extreme political loyalty taken too far.
While some viewers dismissed the remark as a joke or an attempt to trend online, others insisted such statements should not be taken lightly, especially in a tense political climate.

“Mc Isa Aha was arrested by his father this evening about the video he was dropping that he can sacrifice his parent for APC.
“Please my good people, I want us to beg his father to release my friend. It is a mistake and it would never repeat himself again,” the friend wrote in the post.
