The national coordinator of the Father Abraham Movement, FAM, Olorogun Ovoke Idogun has congratulated the newly crowned king of Olomu kingdom, Owhorode of Olomu, HRM Albert Akpomudje(SAN) on the occasion of the presentation of the staff of office by the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency RT Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
The FAM family also recently donated essential items to patients of the Central Hospital, Ughelli, Delta State as part of its humanitarian pursuit for good of society.
In a short statement, Olorogun Idogun described the royal father as a man who has received two crowns; “crowned in law, crowned in tradition” even as he prayed for a long and peaceful rule over his people and kingdom. HRM Akpomudje is the current chairman of the Body of Benchers having entered the deeper caucus of Body of Benchers in1999 and earned a life Bencher status in 2007.
“His Royal Majesty, Albert Akpomudje, did not come from nowhere to become Ohworode of Olomu. He did not grab the throne because he is a big lawyer. He was duly processed and even tutored for the great assignment. He had fruitfully and faithfully marked time as Akpile and Otota to learn the ropes before his ultimate ascendance. And that is why for us at FAM, we are optimistic that his reign will usher in more peace and progress for the great people of Olomu,” Idogun stressed even as he gave kudos to the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori for not wasting time in presenting to HRM Akpomudje the staff of office.
At the General Hospital, Ughelli, Idogun, accompanied by members of the Father Abraham Movement team donated food items, cash and books to patients going through different health challenges. He also prayed with the patients and wished them speedy recovery.
The Father Abraham Movement is a civic awareness and policy-support platform. It's focus is on promoting public understanding of governance, reforms, and leadership direction in Nigeria, with calm and reasoned support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The core driving force of the Movement according to Idogun is “Credible, informed support. We believe patience, stability, and understanding of governance processes are more effective than emotional or confrontational messaging and that is why our vision is to support a Nigeria where citizens are better informed and more confident in governance and long-term national development. Our mission statement is to promote awareness and understanding of governance and policy reforms through calm communication, public sensitization, and responsible engagement.”
