Actress Angela Okorie has been moved to Suleja Prison, where she is being detained pending her bail hearing, which is yet to be fixed.
The actress was reportedly re-arrested, prompting her colleague Stanley Ontop to cry out for her release, claiming she was arrested due to an alleged abuse of power.
However, a post that later surfaced online disclosed that Okorie allegedly disobeyed court orders by failing to appear in court on several occasions when summoned.
According to the report, the close associate who stood as her surety during her initial arrest could not be located. It was further claimed that Okorie was tracked to Lagos, where she was eventually arrested. She is expected to remain in detention for some time before her bail hearing takes place.
In another post shared by her colleague and friend, Sonia Ogiri, who accompanied her to court in Abuja, photos of Angela Okorie from the court session were released.
London-Based Zance Launches AI Platform to Track ROI of In-Person Events
As event costs continue to rise and “Zoom fatigue” drives renewed interest in physical gatherings, London-based startup Zance is challenging event organisers to abandon vanity metrics like attendance numbers and instead measure what truly matters: outcomes.
Backed by the Mayor of London’s Amplify Ventures and Foundervine, Zance has launched an AI-powered platform designed to help organisers, sponsors, and attendees track the real return on in-person events.
The platform replaces gut feel, headcounts, and post-event guesswork with actionable data that shows how events drive connections, leads, and business value.
“For decades, success has been judged by how full a room looks,” said Ifeanyichukwu Ukwu, CEO of Zance. “But a crowded room doesn’t guarantee a single meaningful connection.
Organisers are relying on fragmented tools, ticketing for one thing, spreadsheets for another, while having zero visibility into what actually happens between two people shaking hands. We’re closing that value gap.”
Zance positions itself as a digital concierge for attendees and a real-time analytics engine for organisers. Using an AI-powered personal assistant, the platform analyses participants’ professional goals, to curate relevant connections, replacing random networking with intentional introductions; captures intent, allowing conversations to be logged instantly as actionable follow-ups or leads, and delivers real-time analytics, including a proprietary “ZES Score” (Zance Event Success Score) that measures outcomes for sponsors, organisers, and attendees to ensure all stakeholder interests are accounted for.
Early pilot programmes show promising results. Events using Zance achieved up to 70% attendance rates, while doubling post-event business conversions, significantly reducing no-shows and unproductive interactions.
While large-scale conferences can afford custom-built apps, Zance is focused on the underserved middle market, including corporate gatherings, professional communities, and high-value networking events that need accountability but lack enterprise budgets.
Founded by a team that has organised over 150 events, Zance emerged from firsthand frustration. “We kept seeing great events fail to justify their value to sponsors,” said Ukwu. “That’s the problem we set out to solve.”
The company was founded by Ifeanyichukwu Ukwu (CEO), Isaac Oduh (CTO), and Enya Adesulure (Partnerships).
With backing from Amplify Ventures, Zance is scaling the platform for broader rollout across the UK, with plans to expand into European markets. The company is targeting a pre-seed funding round by the end of Q1 2026 to deepen its AI capabilities and accelerate growth.
“The next era of events belongs to the accountable,” Ukwu added. “If you can’t measure the outcome, you shouldn’t be holding the event.
My Ex Used Security Personnel To Kick Me Out After I Caught Him With Pregnant Lady
-Actress Osas Ighodaro
Actress Osas Ighodaro has opened up about a painful experience from her past, revisiting a moment of betrayal that left her deeply heartbroken.
According to Osas, she decided to surprise her partner by driving to his house unannounced. She said she knocked on the door and waited for about five minutes before he responded.
Rather than being happy to see her, he asked, “why didn’t you say you were coming?” a reaction that immediately unsettled her.
She explained that when she tried to go into his room, she discovered the door was locked. He initially claimed he had a friend inside, but after she pressed further, he admitted, “it’s not a guy it’s a girl.” He then asked her to sit down, saying they needed to talk.
The situation escalated when he reportedly called security and had her escorted out of the house.
Although she drove away, Osas said she later returned to confront him, questioning how he could treat her that way after they had been together for three to four years.
She added that the encounter took an even more painful turn when he told her he had involved the police because he did not want her to “go to jail for fighting a pregnant woman,” a statement that confirmed her fears and marked the end of the relationship.
I Stopped Going Back To School Because I Can’t Sit And Be Looking For Hours Without Making Money
–Peller
Popular TikTok content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has hinted that he may no longer return to school, barely days after celebrating his admission to study law at a private university in Lagos State.
Peller made the disclosure in a voice note shared on his channel on Tuesday, where he complained that attending school was affecting his ability to make money.
“Guys, I swear to God, I remember I said I am going to school… I am not going again. I am not going again,” he said.
The content creator explained that spending hours in class without earning income made the experience unacceptable to him.
“I just remember, I was inside class for four hours. I didn’t make any money. I will write, I will look, I will play, not making anything. God forbid. I am not doing that one again,” he said.
Peller also claimed he felt out of place among other students, describing himself as the youngest person in the class.
“When I enter the school, I notice that everyone is old, I am the only young blood there,” he added.
He further stated that he would consider returning to school later in life.
“So I need to go old. Maybe when I clock like 30, 40 years, I will now go to school. Please cancel everything. I am tired,” he said.
The development marks a sharp reversal from Peller’s recent public celebration of his admission into a law programme.
Recall that the TikTok sensation had, in a video that went viral on Saturday, announced that he had secured admission to study law at a private university in Lagos State, although he declined to disclose the name of the institution.
In the video, Peller expressed excitement over the admission and appeared to respond to critics who had mocked his educational background.
“Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated, as if I’m the first person who didn’t attend university. Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school,” he said.
“I’m now studying law. You can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law,” he added.
I Almost Became A Pastor At 19, But I Ran Away
–Tonto Dikeh
Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has shared a deeply personal account of her early spiritual journey, revealing that she once planned to become a pastor before walking away from the path.
She made this known while speaking in a recent livestream video interview.
The actress disclosed that she felt a strong calling to serve God from a very young age and remained actively involved in church life after finishing secondary school.
According to her, the decision to abandon her plans for ministry at the age of 19 did not erase her deep connection to her faith.
Dikeh explained that her life experiences, including the challenges and controversies she has faced, were part of a larger divine process meant to shape her into who she is today.
She described her journey as far from ordinary, noting that every phase of her life played a role in refining her purpose.
The actress added that she believes God intentionally allowed her to pass through difficult seasons to mold her into a bold and resilient individual, stating that her life story reflects a calling that has always been present, even when she tried to run from it.
She said in part: “I’ve always had this calling right from when I was a child. At 19 I was going to be a pastor, until I ran away. I’ve been in church since I left secondary school. So I had always known God intimately and intensely. And I’ve always known I had this calling. If you watch what has happened in my life, it is not ordinary. God called me and needed me to go through all I had to become the firebrand that I am today.
He Has Tattoo Of Your Father On His Body”
–Saida Boj Blasts Seun Kuti Over Feud With Wizkid
Social media influencer, Saida Boj has expressed disappointment in Seun Kuti over his ongoing feud with Afrobeat star Wizkid, criticizing how the musician has handled the issue online.
Reacting to the on-going feud, Saida Boj said the public argument has gone too far and is beginning to overshadow the legacy of Afrobeats pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
According to her, Wizkid’s actions already show respect for Fela, making Seun Kuti’s continued reactions unnecessary.
“The person wey you dey drag get tattoo of your papa for him body. What does that tell you? Isn’t that enough proof that he knows your father is a legend? Isn’t that enough proof that he respects your father?” she said.
Saida Boj further explained that Seun Kuti had taken the matter into needless debates, stressing that some things do not need to be proven publicly.
“These are things you don’t need to prove. Respect is already clear. Dragging it this way only ends up disrespecting Fela’s legacy,” she added.
She emphasized that the man in question has already shown admiration for Fela by having a full tattoo of him on his body, describing Seun Kuti’s reaction as unnecessary drama.
“I feel like he’s trying to create drama out of something that is already obvious. The respect is already there, so why make it an issue?” she said.
Saida Boj’s comments echo the frustration of many Nigerians online, who believe the ongoing feud between Wizkid and Seun Kuti has gone too far.
