It is a fact that Christendom has gone beyond preaching, praying and fasting alone. Of course, both are very important as they will complement the physical action of giving towards winning souls to the kingdom of God.

The senior pastor at Liberation City, Dr. Chris Okafor who has made it mandatory to give to the less privileged and widows on a day-to-day basis, has done it again.

Last week Sunday, the famous prophet once again put smiles on the faces of more families.

We gathered that over 600 widows smiled home with bags of rice as part of Okafor’s monthly widows’ support. He also promised to commence his widows empowerment scheme soon, where widows will be trained in various skill acquisition jobs and subsequently empowered with cash to be self-dependent.

Another family that benefitted from Dr. Chris Okafor’s gesture was a young man who has been looking for money to legalize his marriage with his wife who has been staying with him for years.

Though the man of God frowned at such action, saying it’s a sin for a woman whose bride price has not been paid to live with a man, he nonetheless blessed them with N150, 000 cash to aid their marriage plan. Also, three young men who recently lost their mother after so many years their father died, and there was nowhere they could reside because of lack of cash received a cash of N120, 000 for their house rent.

According to the seer, “not every problem needs prayer.” In his words, “Yes, we need prayer always but sometimes we need physical cash to sort things out, which is why I have adapted this style of deliverance and empowerment with cash to make things work.”

It will be recalled that Chris Okafor World Outreach (COWOM), is continuing with its soul-winning crusade across the country. The train has visited over 13 countries out of the 35 countries scheduled to be visited this year. The Sango-Ota, Ogun State crusade began on the 30thof June through July 2nd and all have recorded various testimonies.
