It was yet another momentous occasion on Monday, 20th June 2016, as some of Nigeria’s best and brightest converged on the Lagos Island to celebrate with young-looking and urbane journalist, Mr. Azuh Arinze.

The date marked the 5th anniversary celebration of Azuh’s baby, YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine. Another special attraction at the event was the unveiling of YES CLASSICS!, a sister publication.

Held at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), on Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, the Lecture/Cocktail Party witnessed the presence of names that count in the social, politics and showbiz scenes.

The list include such dignitaries as Dr. (Mrs.) Nike Akande, CON, former Minister of Industry and President, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry who was the Chairperson; Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa, Secretary to the Ogun State Government; Mr. Emeka Oparah, Vice President, Corporate Communications, Airtel Nigeria; Prince Bisi Olatilo; Bishop Isaac Idahosa; Hon. Tunde Braimoh; Mr. Habib Aruna, Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor; Mr. Tokunbo Modupe, Chairman, TPT International; Dr. (Mrs.) Quincy Ayodele of Quincy Herbals; Mr. Ingram Osigwe, MD, Full Page Communications; Chief Tony Okoroji and Dr. Larry Izamoje, Chairman, Brila FM.

Dr. Ogbechie delivered the lecture of the day themed, ‘Running A Successful Business In Nigeria – My Experience’.

The event which also witnessed the cutting of the anniversary cake, massive networking and cocktail, Azuh posits, would for long remain in the memories of those who made it there.
