One of the beautiful Nollywood actresses, Cynthia Agholor, is back with another box office hit. Cynthia, we gathered, has released her third movie titled ‘Celebrity’.
Cynthia, a fast-rising actress, it is recalled, went on a hiatus from the movie industry for a few years to pursue private initiatives.
However, in spite of the fact that she had been off the scene for years, her comeback is set to shake the industry, with the latest effort.
”I left the movie industry for few years to pursue some other businesses, but no matter what I do, acting and movie making has always been my first love. So, immediately I came back to the industry this year, I decided to produce and I made two movies back to back,” she gushes.
Cynthia said she is not taking the new film to the cinemas but setting a unique standard by putting it on cable for the viewing public. “I’m taking it to the cable, online and open markets. DSTV has already acquired the film and it will start airing soon on Africa Magic channel. But I intend to take the next project to the cinema,” she declared.
Seasoned actors and actresses that feature in ‘Celebrity’ include Kalu Ikeagu, Chinyere Nwabueze, Cynthia Agholor, Tony Akposheri, Chris Ubani Robert, MC Hold Something. The movie was directed by Paul Julius Obomokhai, an award winning Nollywood director.
She, however, declined to estimate how much the production of the film gulped.
