Who is Vera Idam, her education and passion?
Vera Idam was born in 1993 into the family of Idam in Benue State. I am a young school leaver, currently waiting for JAMB to further my education. l have passion for dancing, pageants and cooking as hobbies. I am currently the MBGE Model Queen 2016 as the Queen of Catwalk in Lagos State, being the fifth runner up in the just concluded MBGE 2016. The Most Beautiful Girl In Eko is the acronym for MBGE.
How did you emerge as MBGE Model Queen?
l will say it is by the Grace of God and hard work.
How has life been since you were crowned MBGE Model Queen?
The life of a Queen is a different world. I have to live exemplary life in all l do now, both in public and private life. It makes me see the life of celebrities differently.
How do you define success?
Success is what makes you or what gives you happiness and peace of mind. Life is all about structures and processes before you get there.
What do you think are your current challenges now as a Queen especially in your pet project?
Material and financial support, l need help from Lagos State government, philanthropists, corporate bodies and business world to support my pet project and also for these mentioned bodies to support trade mark registered beauty pageants too as it is done in other parts of the world. Lagos State government has to be more involved in all entertainment and brands that are registered under the name of Lagos or Eko.
Do you intend to further your education soon?
Sure, why not. Education is life till death. We are all learning from cradle to death. Education is growth to any nation or individual.
What is your advice to those who are eyeing your position?
Beauty pageant is a beauty talent that promotes our dance, music, origin, root, culture, manners, and knowledge about our environment as current affairs in African civilization. Life is connection and connection brings opportunities but the passion must come first; that is my advice.
