Manchester 2021: Nigeria Para-Powerlifting Team Breaks World Record with 10 Gold, 3 Silver Medals

Nigeria Para-Powerlifting team headed by Chief Coach, Oyebola Oluwakemi Omolade, has set a new world record, winning 10 gold and 3 silver medals, at the just concluded Para-powerlifting world cup, held in Manchester, United Kingdom, coming ahead of Great Britain, France and
Russia.

 

 

While speaking to Nigerian journalist, Dare Gbadebo, at the end of the tournament in Manchester, United Kingdom. The Nigerian para powerlifting team do hope that the Nigerian government
will appreciate the feat and the commitment of the athletes in bringing glory to the country.

 

 

Head Coach of the team, Oluwakemi Oyebola uses the opportunity to call on Nigeria sports ministry and the federal Government, to support the team on this achievement, as a means of encouragement, for greater purpose.

 

The Nigerian team are rated best in the world in para powerlifting sport.
