J Martins, Funny Bone, Humble Smith, Others for ENigeria Newspaper Awards

All is set for the maiden edition of the ENigeria Newspaper Night of Honours (ENOH) 2021.

 

According to the founder/editor-in-chief , Desmond Ike – Chima, guests that would grace the  five-in-one event billed for Saturday, October 30, 2021 at  NAF Event Centre, 1 Kofo Abayomi Street, off Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island will be treated to an evening of awards rollout, high octane celebration with a colourful ambience of live music performances, comedy and general entertainment.

 

Stars on parade would include J. Martins, Humble Smith, Austino Milado and the Lavolta Band while Funny Bone and Omini will entertain with rib-cracking jokes.

 

Explaining the reason for the occasion in Lagos, Ike-Chima said: “ENigeria newspaper which I am founder and Editor-in-chief is 13 years and we are celebrating. The journey began for us at ENigeria Newspaper 13 years ago when the need arose for an authoritative journal that focuses on essential parts the society, including but not limited to entertainment, lifestyle and politics.

 

ENigeria had its debut under her first monica as ‘Report Nigeria’ at a period when many Nigerians were content to print editions of dallies.

 

The brand continued to acquire traction and its audience base quickly expanded resulting in a rebranding exercise in 2011 which gave rise to our new identity as ENigeria Newspaper.

 

ENigeria Newspaper is 70 per cent entertainment and 30 per cent general interest news which is why as we celebrate our 13th years as a recognized media outlet in Nigeria, we saw the need to honour prominent players in the entertainment industry and other Nigerians who have dedicated their trade and talent to making our country proud.”

 

The occasion as was gathered will be hosted by the Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN).

 

The event will also feature an all-celebrity discussion segment with six celebrity panelists entitled; ‘Brand Ambassador, Influencer Market and the Social Media Revolution.’

 

Furthermore, some awardees for the night include, Mr. Adedimeji Lateef –Face of Nollywood 2021 male category; Miss Iniobong Edo-Face of Nollywood, female category; Pamilerin Adegoke for Face of Influencer Marketing in Nigeria; Captain Jamil Abubakar for Youth and Sports Development; Mr. Moses Inwang for Most Tenacious Nollywood Personality and Mr. Ayo Animashaun for Face of Media 2021.

 

Others are Mr. Johnson Chukwu of Cowry Asset Management as ENigeria Newspaper Man of the Year; Mrs. Folake Oyemade of Sam and Sara Garment Factory for Woman of the Year; Mr. Mele Kyari –GMD, NNPC for Accountability in Public Service and Miss Ehi Ogebor for CEO of the Year.

 

Other brands that will be awarded include: Heritage Bank for SMEs Friendly Bank of the Year; The UBA Foundation for Brand with Best Corporate Social Responsibility Focus; Bright View Services for Telecoms Brand of the Year; CDV Properties for Real Estate Brand of the Year; Marcopolo Hotel for Hospitality Brand of the Year; 7Star Aviation for Aviation Brand of the Year.

 

The highlight of the occasion will be the formal unveiling of ENigeria Newspaper all-colour print edition which is a 70 per cent entertainment newspaper with 30 per cent general interest news.
