Islamic Cleric Arrested For Ritual, Cools Off In Oke-Kura Prison



An Ilorin popualr Islamic cleric, Busari Wasiu Iseoluwa, who was few months ago nabbed by the police for alleged ritual, has still not breathed the air of freedom since his arrest.

Global Excellence magazine learned that Mallam Wasiu was arrested for being in possession of a human head and some other parts of the body, an act contrary to Section 219 of the Penal Code  law.

The cleric who was arrested in the Itakudimo area of Ilorin has since been cooling off at the Oke-Kura prison.

The case was again brought before Justice M.S Lawal came up on 13th of November 2017, where the counsel to the defendant, Taofiq Alubarika, cross-examined one of the prosecution witnesses who is the IPO in charge of the case.
