Africa’s leading entepreneur and Chairman/CEO of Cornfield Group of Companies, Dr Babatope Michael Agbeyo who turned 45 on Saturday, July 13, 2019 had an exclusive birthday banquet held in his honour amidst fun and merry making.
To Dr Agbeyo’s sheer delight, he was thrown into a wonderful surprise dinner party at D’Podium event center, Aromire Avenue in Ikeja and he was really touched by the hospitable gesture.
This was made all the more a pleasure because he had no idea that his son, Tolulope Agbeyo, members of staff, old friends, business associates, family members and well wishers had planned it.
It was a wonderful gathering of people from all walks of life who had all seen fit to attend a surprise birthday dinner party which was thrown just for this business mogul, Agbeyo. He was deeply humbled and felt highly honoured. With no shred of doubt it was a real ambush but it was the sweetest type of ambush that anyone could possibly imagine.
Spirits were high, the food and drinks were excellent, the speeches were moving, the birthday cake was beautiful and the prayers and kind words of encouragement and support from Senator Babafemi Ojudu and wife of former minister of Education, late Prof. Babalola Borishade, Mrs Ireti Olubunmi, and so many others moved the celebrant and his guests very deeply.
The event also got royal blessings from Ooni of Ife who could not personally come but sent his adorable wife, Olori (Evangelist) Shilekunola Moronke Naomi.
Similarly, the WAEC Head of National Office (HNO), Dr Olu Adenipekun also graced the birthday dinner party; moreover the ever inspiring international gospel artist, Evangelist Tope Alabi was also on the band stand alongside other musicians entertaining the guests with soul lifting lyrics to the satisfaction of everyone.
Dr Tope Agbeyo is the Chairman, Cornfield Group, which comprises Media Concepts International Limited, Botosoft Technologies Limited, Cornfield Transnational Limited and FOAM Studio Nigeria Limited.
