The Grace Nation worldwide recently joined the rest of the world to celebrate the International Women’s Day, a day set aside by United Nations to celebrate the importance of mothers in nation building and as agents of peace across the world.
Although the IWD was celebrated across the globe few days ago, Grace Nation International aka Liberation City under the leadership of God’s servant, Dr. Chris Okafor, decided to celebrate the day with Liberationists across the world on Sunday 20th March, 2022.
The celebration of women’s day at Grace Nation climaxed with dancing and drama to illustrate why women must be celebrated. In his remarks, Dr Okafor noted that it is imperative to always celebrate women, adding that women are the carriers of Life while fathers are the source of life. The man of God stated that mothers do risk their lives for their children to be successful in life adding that some will go on empty stomachs just to see that their wards become something in life.
The man of God said no amount of accolades can quantify the commitment of mothers toward the success of their children, while he prayed that Almighty God continues to protect and provide for mothers and that their labour never be in vain.
Similarly, Dr. Okafor challenged children too to always remember their mother as the Lord blesses them in life.
