Baileys Bakefest 2, Nigeria’s premier baking festival came to a delicious end on Saturday, June 16, with #TeamCubis, comprising ex-Big Brother Nigeria runner up, Bisola Aiyeola and Nelson aka Chef Cupid, emerging winners.
The competition which held at the Muri Okunola Park in Victoria Island, Lagos had #TeamCubis winning in all categories of the contest, relegating the others to the background. #TeamXbee, comprising superstar, DJ Exclusive and Barbara came second, while #TeamTK (Toke Makinwa and Kofo) and #TeamIKBus, made up of actor, Ik Ogbonna and Busola, came third and fourth respectively.
Members of all the teams smiled home with mouthwatering prizes worth millions of naira for their efforts. While the winning #TeamCubis, won all-expenses-paid trip to South Africa, the second and third teams, however got sets of Vava Furniture.
Baileys Bakefest 2 was not all about baking as the event also availed the audience the opportunity to participate in various outdoor games, while savouring an array of pastries and cocktails infused with Baileys at the many vendors’ stands.
