The resignation of Oyo State Commissioner for Special Duties, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Mudashiru last week Tuesday did not only come as a surprise to many of his colleagues but was also shocking to those outsid the government.

Popularly called Muda, the commissioner, inside sources told Global Excellence magazine, had been in the bad books of the governor for a long time. “He had been blacklisted by the governor for reasons of politics,” a source told this magazine.

Although the government claimed that the commissioner was sacked due to his failure to meet up with the expectations but sources close to the media expert and author said he resigned because the offer was already affecting him.

It was also alleged that Muda had his eyes in a higher office, same with some of his colleagues in the Ajimobi’s cabinet who we heard may also throw in the towel anytime soon, but this could not be confirmed by sources close to him.

Sources said that one of the reasons Muda decided to dump Ajimobi was because “he was not being treated fairly, the government job is already affecting his life and business and when he realized that the governor and some forces in the system seemed to dislike his uprightness and fair attitude to work.”

The former commissioner declined comment when Global Excellence called him to react to the story.
