January 9 Collective, a social cultural group of professionals from various fields, on the 9th of July, 2019, hosted Steve Ayorinde, the former commissioner of culture and tourism to a lavish dinner at La’Mango, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
The dinner billed to celebrate him and his achievements as commissioner of information and later commissioner for culture and tourism during the Akinwunmi Ambode tenure as governor of Lagos State, coincided with his birthday, making it a double celebration.
According to the captain of J9C, Mr Akin Adeoya, “Steve performed incredibly well in his various endeavours during the last administration, and we have to thank him for his dedication to service of our dear state and for representing us well.
Steve who attended in the company of his dear wife, felt highly honoured and was full of thanks to J9C members and friends.
