A frontline aspirant for the local government Chairmanship seat in Ijebu Ode, Hon Dare Paul Alebiosu, has felicitated with Christians in the council area and Ogun state generally as they joined the rest of the world in celebrating Christmas.
The message was contained in a statement signed by his media office and made available to journalists today in Ijebu Ode.
Alebiosu praised the people of the town for their love and peaceful co-existence despite enormous challenges threatening the larger society.
The All Progressives Congress faithful reminded Christians throughout the local government area to always remember the reason for the birth of Jesus Christ which is the remission of our sins.
He also urged them to emulate Christ by being tolerant and forgiving so that they can live peacefully with their neighbors.
Meanwhile, Alebiosu has distributed food items and cash donation to various groups and individuals in the council area to enable them celebrate the festive season in a joyous mood.
The Christmas gifts according to the statement have been extended to all the wards in the area.
