Chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State have thrown their full weight behind the governorship ambition of Senator Boluwaji Kunlere, confirming that if elected, he would be a blessing to the entire Ondo State.
Kunlere, few days back, was on a courtesy visit to party leaders, executives and delegates of the party in Akoko North-West local government.
While thanking the party chieftains on behalf of the visiting aspirant, a party top shot, Alhaji Momoh, described Kunlere as a politician with a unique character, stating that he is accessible, fair minded and transparent.
Also, the PDP chairman in Akoko Northwest, local government, Alhaji Aminu, while welcoming the senator, applauded him for being time conscious and hailed him for his humility, while he hailed him for his tremendous and laudable achievements as a senator representing the State.
Kunlere, in his own address, appreciated his hosts for the reception, promising to fulfill his campaign promises as a man who had been tested and found to be competent, trustworthy and reliable.
“The grassroots people have always been our support base and we will never abandon them for any cabal, real or imaginary,” Kunlere declared while he promised never to betray the confidence the people have in his leadership.
