The annual youth event which is the biggest gathering of young Nigerians who have broken the ceiling of limitations to excel in their various fields, will celebrate 50 new-school heroes, who have excelled despite odds.

The theme of this year’s edition is, ‘Are Nigerian Youths Truly Ready for the Future or Ranting‘.

According to a release by the publisher of youngachieversnigeria.com, a youth-oriented online magazine, Mr. Ibrahim Adeduntan, the event is focused on future leadership primarily because “leadership has been the main problem of Nigeria and the entire Africa. However, in spite of the frustrating challenges, certain individuals have distinguished themselves in different fields and also exhibit qualities that people look for in an achiever like honesty, competence, progress, intelligence and inspiration.”

Guest speakers at this year’s event, we gathered, include the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello; the speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudasiru Obasa and Human Rights amazon, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin.
