The G47 AA Legacy Continuity Group penultimate week gave reasons why young people in Kwara State should continue to support the policies and programmes of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration noting that this would help to ensure uninterrupted delivery of good governance and dividends of democracy in the state.
Coordinator of G47 AA Legacy Continuity Group, Hon. Jimoh Idris who is popularly called Blinkers submitted that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has done well when it comes to provision of infrastructure projects adding that his administration’s social investment programmes are also quite commendable as nearly every household in the state has enjoyed one support or another..
The governor, Hon Idris noted has also repositioned education sector in the state, changed the face of Kwara State and made judicious use of public funds.
The group also urged well-meaning Kwarans, especially the young people to continue to support the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq administration’s urban renewal efforts which are designed to enhance ‘the beauty and image of our dear Ilorin city’.
‘Major cities especially the state capital are at the heart of change for our children, and for future generations. Our dear governor is thinking more about the future and we must be on the same page with respect to the needed changes. As drainage systems are cleared and our environments are cleaned up, the overall economic development of the cities will be enhanced’, the group said.
The G47 AA Legacy Continuity Group also expressed the need for all Kwara residents to support the ongoing efforts to promote the state capital’s beautification adding that ‘much of the city is undergoing a massive regeneration process that will make it a state capital in a true sense’.
‘We urge our young people to continue to support the current administration in the state which has continued to strive for excellence and make efforts to transform our state capital.
We must shun misleading information, and misinformation, the governor is only committed to his administration’s urban renewal efforts and it has a lot of benefits. What is therefore expected of us as citizens and residents is to give the governor our full support.
Our dear governor should ignore distractions and remain focused and committed to his mission to change the face of the State of Harmony.
We pray that Almighty Allah will continue to make the efforts of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq result in success.
