Since his appointment to the board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Sunday Dare, Chief of Staff and Special Adviser on Media to former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has not been too far from Ogbomoso.
Dare has been coming home more frequent than before to meet with people and making it known that he is from the town.
Feelers have, however, suggested that the media guru is eyeing the senatorial seat ahead of 2019 general elections and has started making early moves to achieve this objective.
