The General Overseer of The Redeemed Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has reechoed and affirming his undying passion and love for the intercontinental music director of the Church , Pastor Kunle Ajayi.
The most celebrated preacher, who unequivocally said, two reasons for appreciating and love Pastor Kunle Ajayi remain indelible to him.
”There was a day we were almost stranded in our evangelical journey to Haiti. We waited endlessly at Washington DC to get visa to the country but almost impossible. However, when we eventually got the visa to Haiti for the program, I was seriously tired emotionally, physically and even Spiritually. It was when Pastor Kunle Ajayi started playing his Saxophone that my Spirit jerked up with great miracles erupted at the program”. Since that day I have decided that he should always play his Saxophone before my ministrations.”
Also, Daddy GO said, ”A Church once contacted Pastor Kunle Ajayi for his dexterity on Saxophone to be playing for them in the Church on a monthly salary of Ten thousand Dollars but he rejected the offer. You can see why I love him” he declared.
With the aforementioned, Daddy Adeboye said, ”I told God that as I continue to grow, Kunle Ajayi also should continue to grow with me”
Thanking God that, Kunle Ajayi who though very rascal in the beginning, indeed a seed sown years back and now a global phenomenon. Though, jokingly Daddy said, ”I had once asked the military to discipline him for me, I’m sure he won’t tell you people about that, but I thank God greatly for his life”
The 60th birthday bash for this great music icon which was witnessed by his immediate and extended family, top echelon of the Church, the society and gospel music circle including, Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, Ayewa, B J sax, Yinka Alaseyori, Chinwe, Bidemi Olaoba, Oluwaseun Oluwatunmibi among others, anchored by Pastor Leke Adeboye who spiced up the event with hilarious and down to heart jokes that literarily set the atmosphere on ‘fire’.
