Kwara Big Boy, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun said he would remain firm and not change in his friendship with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and will also continue to support his administration.
He has also promised to give necessary supports and ensure the governor wins re-election next year.
Adeyemi who was one of those who competed for the Kwara South APC nomination and he  stood as a candidate  in the primary election held in Idofian  a few days ago said he will remain loyal to the governor.
‘Every election is about continuity or change and, Alhamdulillah, our governor has performed remarkably well and in an effort to help him continue in office and ensure he gets a  second term, I believe having strong people on the platform may help, especially in Kwara South. In Kwara South, we’ve always screamed marginalization, even when we had our own son  as occupant of  the Alhamdulillah. Nothing in life is guaranteed and we sometimes take a lot of things for granted.
Even the almighty Allah tells us that he’s close to us than our jugular  vein but they say ‘man proposes, God dispossess’. We plan things as if we are sure that  the next second is even guaranteed.
But the truth of the matter is that even the next minute is not guaranteed. We have to live every minute in the hands of almighty Allah. And no man is perfect. But I do strive to be the best of myself and everyone that has come in contact with me or that I have an opportunity to interact with, I try to live what my name represents: Nurudeen, which is the light of religion.  I always want people to see some goodness in me which they can take with them and apply in their own life in order that they can  also use it to positively impact others.
If we begin to make use of this light, the suckle of goodness gets bigger and bigger. If what we are saying is to help our people, then one should not be bitter if people say ‘ok it’s not your time to help us’.
If, truly, that’s what we are doing it for.  If I say, I’m trying to help people and they say thank you very much, we are not ready for your help yet, who am I to be bitter about that? No problem, hopefully there will be another chance for me to be able to convince you better than I was able to do before. People think it is a do or die thing. Yoruba people say ‘There’s no one like God but there are millions of similar kind of people’. That God has put me in this position doesn’t mean that there are no other deserving people to be in this position better than I am. So, I cannot say it is my wisdom (that put me in the position. No!) So, that’s why I like my life the way I live it’, he said.
