Findings revealed that there are many factors against the incumbent Senator which is reportedly threatening his return as Ogun Central representative in 2023.
From history, Amosun is the only politician that was elected twice as the Senator for the Ogun Central.
However, his return to the National Assembly in 2023 is hinged on the premise that many stakeholders are reportedly working against his victory.

Findings revealed that many residents of Ogun Central believe that Amosun’s second time as Senator has not been fruitful because he has not been able to bring dividends of democracy to the people.
It was gathered that Amosun has not done enough since he was elected as the Senator of the Ogun Central.
Also, investigation showed that many residents in the Ogun Central have started grumbling on alleged plan by Amosun to remain Senator of the axis despite having more qualified people that can do the job.
Findings also showed that major stakeholders in Ogun Central have started a wide consultation of getting a young and vibrant politician who can replace Amosun in 2023.

One of the stakeholders who pleaded anonymity said “people believe he has been a Senator for eight years. He collected it forcefully from someone in 2019.
“People believe the first time he went there, he has nothing to show for it, it is only the love people have for him that made them vote for him.
“This time around, many people believe that as former governor, they expected him to bring dividends of democracy to them but he failed to do that.”
