Portable: I Can Fight Anthony Joshua For N100m
Nigerian controversial singer, Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, better known as Portable has turned down Speed Darlington’s boxing challenge, stating that the rapper isn’t a match for him.
In a viral video on Monday, Portable dismissed the fight challenge, stating that Speed Darlington was only using it as a way to promote his upcoming show in April.
Instead of accepting Darlington’s challenge, Portable turned his focus to a more notable opponent — British-Nigerian boxing champion, Anthony Joshua.
In his usual bold style, Portable demanded a whopping N100 million to step into the ring with Joshua.
He went on to boast about his supremacy in the music industry, claiming that he is a far bigger star than Darlington.
This follows Speed Darlington’s recent gym session in preparation for the planned boxing match against Portable.
He said, “E no blow reach me, Speed Darlington, he wants to use me promote his show, make una bring Anthony Joshua, let me fight with Anthony Joshua for N100m”.
“I’m Raising Ransom To Pay My Kidnappers”
–2Baba Taunts
Nigerian music star 2Baba has broken his silence over his mother’s viral claims that he was kidnapped, responding with humour during a recent performance.
The buzz began after his family members, including his mother, Rose Idibia raised concerns about his whereabouts—particularly as his ongoing divorce from actress Annie Idibia continues to make headlines.
In a viral video, Rose claimed her son was missing and hinted that he may be under the control of his new partner, Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker from Edo State.
She tearfully appealed to Natasha to “free her son,” suggesting he was being held against his will or manipulated in some way.
But rather than fuel the drama, 2Baba chose to laugh it off. While performing at the Acapella comedy show on Sunday, he jokingly addressed the allegations.
“Allegedly, I’ve been missing. Allegedly, I’ve been kidnapped,” he said, smiling. “So, this show is actually to generate money for the kidnappers to release me.”
The playful jab sparked laughter from the crowd and his tone made it clear he wasn’t taking the claims too seriously—though the rumours had caused quite a stir online.
Despite the humour, the situation highlights the tension surrounding 2Baba’s personal life, especially with his divorce and new relationship constantly in the public eye.

Standing his ground, Odumodublvck maintained that his demand was valid, stressing the personal risks he faced while backing the former Anambra State governor.
On his X handle, he wrote, “Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen to campaign against Mr Peter but I turned it down.

– Segun Arinze

In an interview, shared on YouTube Wednesday, Arinze discussed their disagreement which originated from a leadership issue within the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) in 2009.
Segun highlighted the significance of letting go of past grudges, saying, “Emeka Ike is a fine actor. We still talk; we laugh about those things. It doesn’t change the fact that he is a fine actor.
“The conflict ended naturally. We were not quarrelling. It was just about the position. That’s why I left the position. He also had other things to do.
“Then time and chance happened. And we are growing old. He is my friend and we are cool. I’ve asked him to go for lunch or dinner whenever he is around.
“What are we having enemies for? The work I am doing is enough of a burden. Hate is a burden. Travel light. How long do you have to live in the world? You want to carry it on your shoulders? What do I need that animosity for?”
