Portable Warns Yoruba Actors To Stay Away From His Wife, Amid Baba Tee, Ijoba Lande Infidelity Controversy

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has warned Nollywood actors, especially those in the Yoruba film industry to stay away from his wife.

Ashabi Simple, a Yoruba actress is one of Portable’s baby mamas.

Portable’s warning follows the controversy involving actor Baba Tee and his colleague Ijoba Lande.

Lande recently alleged that his wife, Darasimi left him after uncovering her infidelity with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry including Baba Tee.

Baba Tee confessed to having a brief sexual encounter with Dara during a game of ‘Truth or Dare,’ but she denied the allegation, insisting that she only sat on his lap.

On Monday, Portable took to Instagram to share his conversation with Baba Tee, expressing his disapproval of his actions.

The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker expressed doubts about whether such behaviour is common in the Yoruba film industry.

He also cautioned that anyone who tried to get intimate with Ashabi would face serious repercussions.

“As much as I liked you, you aren’t supposed to be intimate with another person’s wife,” he said.

“Is that how you do in the Yoruba film industry? If anyone tries it with my wife who is an actress, the person will die. Why would you do something like that?

“However, the person who got intimate with someone else’s wife is not at fault; it is the wife who should be blamed. Don’t you know having a sexual encounter with someone else’s wife brings setbacks?

“Stop it brother, it is not good. I love you; that’s why I am telling you in your DM. May you never experience setbacks.”

In response to Portable, Baba Tee claimed he was set up and had got tipsy when it happened.

“…I took two shots of alcohol so I was tipsy. I didn’t know she was Lande’s wife. I won’t have been intimate with her if I knew,” he said.

“I was set up. They are wicked in my industry. It has been a long time since they have been trying to take my life.”
