Veteran Nollywood actress, Hajia Zainab Bukky Ajayi, who died of a heart related ailment yesterday morning, Wednesday 6th July 2016, in her Surulere residence in Lagos has been laid to rest.
The news spread that the late crossover actress, a Christian convert who was famous as ‘Iya Oko Bournvita’, died as Muslims across the world marked the end of 1437 (2016) Ramadan month.
Mrs. Ajayi, who died at age 82, was buried according to Islamic rites, at Atan cemetery in Yaba Lagos, at 5:05pm in the presence of her children.
