It was celebration galore for Osun State citizens as good news came penultimate week that two co-citizens had been considered for strategic appointments by President Bola Tinubu.
Major General T. A Lagbaja was appointed as the Chief of Army Staff while Bashir Adewale Adeniyi was appointed as acting Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.
Governor Ademola Adeleke has welcomed the elevation of the two indigenes of Osun State calling this a great honour while appreciating President Bola Tinubu for trusting them with those important roles.

It is a proud moment for us, and I recognize this huge honour done to us as a state.
