Crème de la crème of the society turned up in full attendance at the prayer service and funeral reception held in honour of Alhaji Jimoh Adejumo Adebunmi in Ede , Osun State on July 31, 2021.
Adebunmi died a few months ago at 85.
International businessman and politician, Otunba Olabode Oyedepo ‘Deway’ is the deceased’s son in-law and it was therefore not unexpected that upper class people would register presence.
Canada-based Otunba Olabode Oyedepo is also a prominent member of the Zenith Elders Forum.
Otunba Oyedepo, an indigene of Oro, Irepodun local government has joined the race to replace Senator Lola Ashiru as representative of Kwara South in the senate in 2023.
The Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, Olowu of Kuta, Oba Adekunle Makama, Oba Saka Olayigbade , former member of House of Representatives, Hon Gbenga Makanjuola , Elder Sudan Olaosebikan, who is the President of the Zenith Elders Forum, Prince Bola Atobatele, Elder Kunle Amuda Akogun, Mr. Dele Joshua, Elder Bukola, Prince Ade Haastrup, Canada-based Olamide Odunsi, Elder Arewa, Elder Kayode Gaddafi and Elder Jay were among attendees of the prayer service held at the residence of late Alhaji Jimoh Adebunmi at Ogberin Street, Ede and the funeral reception held at the Multi Purpose Hall of Western Suns Hotel, Ede.
King Sunny Ade and Abass Akande Obesere were on the bandstand while Otunba Bode Oyedepo and his wife, Mrs. Khadijah Oyedepo, who is the daughter of the deceased were ‘great hosts’.
