Hoodlums yesterday carted away empowerment materials which Senator Rose Oko (Cross River North) intended to distribute to his constituents.
The incident happened at Ogoja township. The items include motorcycles, sewing machines, vehicles, tricycles, and grinding machines.
Over 1000 people from the senatorial district were scheduled to be empowered with the items and a N300 million grant.
The senator promised that the items would be replaced.
