Three guys; Olayade Kehinde , 25, Olufemi Oriyomi, 21, and Raimi Sheriff , 21, were arrested by the police in Ile-Ife , Osun state a few days ago.
They had the bag found on them containing human heart and amulets.
It was belived that they are yahooboyz.
Osun state police PRO, Opabola Yemisi Olawoyin disclosed this penultimate Friday.
She said noted that the state police commissioner Olawale Olokode has advised parents to monitor their children, and warn them against keeping bad company while urging young people in the state to shun get- rich quick syndrome.
‘The brief fact of the case is that on the 7th April, 2022 at about 1100hrs on Osogbo/OAU Ife Campus Road, the Police detectives on a ‘stop and search’ duty flagged down a motorcycle carrying three men but the motorcyclist revved the engine and they pursued them. They were eventually arrested at Safejo area of Ile-ife, and while searching, human heart, which they claimed was that of one of their friends and various criminal charms were found on them.
Meanwhile, as discreet investigation was still ongoing, one of the suspects ; Olufemi Oriyomi fell sick and was taken to the hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, he died while on admission and the corpse has been deposited at State hospital for autopsy.
The remaining two suspects will be arraigned upon conclusion of investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode, psc, wishes to use this medium to advise parents to monitor their children, and warn them against keeping bad company.
He also admonishes the young people to always engage in lawful businesses, and shun anything that will jeopardize their brighter future, which includes things that have to do with the ‘get- rich quick’ syndrome’ she said
