The Cyber Embassy, the world’s first 100% Full-Fledged Internet church is set to Organize its second made-for-internet 12-Hour Gospel Concert, termed ‘Worship Without Walls II’ on January 1st, 2021.

At the height of Covid19 Pandemic, earlier this year, where activities and programmes of churches were severely limited, The Cyber Embassy all-internet Church made history by raising the voice of praise on a global level with a 12 – Hour Marathon Live Internet worship event that featured some of the most accomplished gospel artistes around the globe.

Speaking journalists on Zoom from his location in Omaha, Nebraska USA, the Vision Overseer of the All-Internet Church, Dr. Ope Banwo, announced that the church is set to take the internet worship concept to another level on January 1st, 2021, with the second edition of Worship Without Walls Concert featuring 30 internationally recognized gospel artistes.

Dr.Banwo explained the rationale for this global internet worship event. His words:

“The world is now one global village, and the voice of praise must be loud on a global level, by worshippers everywhere in one global fellowship.

Covid19 may have closed our churches down for a while, and the new social distancing rules may have made it more difficult for worshippers to gather in a building for worship, but the internet has ensured that no pandemic can ever stop our Praise.”

As available on www.WorshipWithoutWalls.Online, this special worship event will take place over 12 uninterrupted hours on Friday, January 1st, 2021, from 12 Noon -12 Midnight (West Africa Time) and will be broadcast live across all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, Tiktok, LinkedIn etc.

When asked why his church is using an unusual venue like the internet for a gospel 12-hour worship concert, instead of a building, hall, or stadium, Banwo, popularly known as Pastor O., said, “Jesus once told the Samaritan woman at the well, ‘believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. Rather, God is seeking those who would worship Him in Spirit and in truth’. I believe Jesus has made it clear that where we worship is no longer important, but how we worship. Worship Without Walls is our own way of embracing this truth with true believers everywhere who refuse to be shackled with religious conventions.”

The Cyber Embassy of Christ is the 1st full-fledged internet church that started late in 2019, with a mission to operate exclusively online, amidst controversy and charges of heresy from traditional pastors, and some Christians, who thought it was unscriptural to have operate a full-fledged church exclusively online. Then Covid-19 hit and made the debate about whether a real church can take place exclusively online or not, a moot point.

Since its inception, the church has organized some life-transforming projects including ground-breaking online programs such as :
• Online-Based 40 Days of Purpose challenge that involved over 1,400 participants from over 22 countries.
• ‘Operation Feed The Widows’ Campaign where the church raised funds online to provide financial support for 2,500 widows and their 5,000 children in Africa.
• 21 Days of New Beginnings Challenge, a marathon Spiritual and Financial Event where the church engaged 12 international trainers to provide Vocational and spiritual skills training to 1,000s of people across the globe.

The Cyber Embassy all internet church operates in the 5five main purposes of the Church, including worship, ministering, evangelism, fellowship and discipleship and the church does not own any physical building and has no plans to do so in the future, according to Banwo.

“Our Mission is to minister to people online while they are online. Period. Once they get offline, we let the traditional churches take it from there”, Dr. Ope reiterated.

The January 1st, 2021 edition of the Worship Without Walls II Gospel Concert will include 12 straight hours Of worship on the internet; spontaneous worship by millions across the globe; performances by 30 Gospel artistes, inspiring sermonettes by guest ministers, and the celebration of one true God in one global internet fellowship.

To ensure that the unprecedented 12-hour worship concert will be a hugely successful one, The Cyber Embassy as organizers has negotiated with, and confirmed the attendance of over 30 international gospel singers for the global internet worship event including Sammie Okposo; Buchi; Pat Uwaje-King; Kenny Saint Brown; Mike Aremu; Folake Umosen; Nikki Laoye; Efe Nathan; Essence; Chioma Okereke; Mike Abdul; Monique; One House Band; Psalmos; Joekeys; Ty Pheobe; Fred Maha; Yomi Ikuesan; Sade Olabanji; Emmanuel Okooboh.

Also, speaking on the event, one of the performing artistes and the designated director/event consultant for the WWW II, Kenny St Brown, pointed out that, “God has given us numerous reasons to be grateful, and it our joy as a church community to gather and join these amazing gospel artistes, in the second edition of an all-internet global worship event. We are all very expectant that great things would happen at the event on New Year’s Day.”

Dr Pastor O, while signing out, noted that, “The Pandemic may have forced us to be socially distant, but it could not silence our voices of praise. Rather than surrendering to despair, we will come together on New Year’s Day from our phones, our laptops, and our desktops to PRAISE the living God. We will WORSHIP, all day long, using the internet as our gathering point for praise.”
