Former Commissioner for Finance and later Special Duties under Prince Oyinlola’s administration, Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo has bounced back into relevance.

Tajudeen was elected the National Vice chairman, South-west of the then ruling party years back.

Tajudeen succeeded Senator Yinka Omilani who also hails from Osun State, Tajudeen made efforts in resuscitating the hitherto dormant south west PDP.

The Osogbo born dude not only worked for relocation of the  zonal secretariat of the party from Lagos to Ibadan; he also embarked on actions that exerted his influence and control over the PDP governors from the zone. Following the dispersal sequel to the sacking of Oyinlola’s government and himself later getting excused out of the PDP seat, nothing much was heard about him politically. The gist here is that the Osogbo born dude has emerged a rally point in the state PDP and he is playing principal roles in efforts aimed at restoring peace to the state PDP. The decision of the Ahmed Makarfi’s faction of the party to bury differences and work for the victory of Otunba Ademola Adeleke in the forthcoming July 8, senatorial election has signaled peace in the party, cognizant that the ticket bestowed on Ademola was courtesy the Ali Modu Sherrif’s camp.  The meeting where talks about achieving peace were tabled was held at Tajudeen’s residence in recognition of his status as a party leader.
