Society Woman, Tai Elemesho, Hails Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu on Lagos Red Line Train Project

The Director-General of a support group, Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors, Alhaja Tai Elemesho-Okesanjo has commended Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for keeping to the developmental blueprint that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu (now President of Nigeria) designed about 20 years ago which has consistently put the state in its mega status.

Alhaja Tai, otherwise known as Montai plays big in construction business both in Lagos and across Nigeria.

Her group Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors was amongst the first group that started Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu Campaign right ahead any other support groups in Lagos.

She was equally a member of Pesident Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council Leadership Committee in 2023.

Alhaja Elemesho in a chat with some senior correspondents on Thursday when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR officially commissioned the Lagos Mass Rail Transit (LMRT) red line train project said the State is on the path of progress and prosperity.

The red line train infrastructure is in its first phase, runs from Agbado in Ogun State to the Oyingbo axis of Lagos State. The 37 km rail line has eight stations, namely Agbado, Iju, Agege, Ikeja, Oshodi, Mushin, Yaba and Oyingbo.

Her words:

“I strongly commend our amiable, visionary, hardworking, compassionate and forthright Governor, who I always call, Mr Sellable for keeping in track with the developmental blueprint that our leader and mentor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu designed about 20 years ago, and impressively this has consistently put the state in its deserving mega status”

Elemesho further hailed the Lagos State current infrastructure milestone noting that the efforts and commitments to provide safe and affordable means of mass transportation in the state will improve the value chain of business while also giving opportunities to the citizenry to predict their journey times.

“I believe that the Lagos Mass Rail Transit (LMRT) red and blue lines train projects will help the transport sector because of the traffic in Lagos. My greatest joy also is that the people of Lagos love love it because it will enable them to meet up various activities and predict their journey times. It will also reduce the rate of accidents on our major roads.

“I also use this opportunity to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership. I want to also thank him for the origin of modern Lagos that he created and started for us. But more importantly, I want to thank him that he helped us in Lagos to have a man that is capable of sustaining and championing his dreams and aspirations for a greater Lagos, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is indeed competent and undoubtedly a blessing for Lagos State” Elemesho stated.
