You recently released a song which you featured Olamide

The song you are referring to is titled ‘You Know’, ‘You Know’ is a great song. It’s getting massive response from fans out there. It was a great effort with the street king himself, Olamide.

Your kind of music is restricted to only the Yoruba music fans in terms of language and style, what are you doing about it?

If you listen to my song very well, you will discover that I don’t use any kind of vulgar language or such. Again, I believe my style of music is the easiest way I can relate with my people, there is no other way. Even at that, music doesn’t have language barrier, music has universal language and that language is what I speak. And to God be the glory, we have been travelling all over the world with our indigenous language and style and people appreciate what we have to offer.

You are the prodigy of Alabi Pasuma Wonder. What is really your relationship with him, are you signed under his label?

My relationship with Oga nla Pasuma is that of father and son. I’m not signed with him, what he is doing for me is what he can do for his son. Whatever he can do for his biological son or daughter is what he is doing for me.

What next are we expecting from Small Doctor?

My fans should be expecting another side of Small Doctor, a love song from Small Doctor dropping with the video same day, probably early next month. I did not feature anyone, it was a lone effort.

Could you tell us the title of the song?

The title of the song will be revealed on the day the song is released.

Are you in any form of relationship?

I’m presently in relationship with God and my career.

Before you became the Small Doctor, you were doing something. How did you come into the music industry and who discovered you?

I was a normal street boy, riding bike, hawking water, lacasera and the rest. I was just a normal boy on the street who just along the way discovered himself. Besides, I was discovered by God and DJ Real.

Who can you attribute your success to in the music industry?

I will say Tracer, the guy that made the Mosquito Killer and DJ Real. But my first song was ‘Maparomomi’, produced by Penny Wise in 2002. As for Dj Real, he is my family friend, closest friend and business associate, I don’t know how else to describe him. DJ Real has so many qualities, DJ Real is a good person.

If you have the opportunity to change anything about yourself, what will that thing be?

I will simply change my stature. I will change my height and size.

If you have the opportunity to make a wish, what will it be?

Money, I want to have more money. Even before I became popular as a musician, I have always desired to have more money.

What would you like to say to aspiring musicians out there looking up to you?

For the ones looking up to me, I will say they should keep it real and look up to God, and they should be focused and determined.

Last words for your fans out there?

God bless everyone out there who is supporting the brand, I’m really grateful.
