Siju Iluyomade Advocates Productive Use of Human Capital, Rolls Out Palliatives

As the 12th edition of Arise Women activities for the year continues, the Convener, Dr Siju Iluyomade has reiterated that, this year’s edition of Arise Women Conference is all about giving out palliatives to the less privileged across the state and also in many parts of the Country. The Conference which is basically to empower Women often attracted over 5000 participants across the country with prominent women in the society coming on board to give personal and inspirational experiences to fellow women.

 

According Siju, a Lawyer of over 35years experience, the aim of Arise is to change the face of Nigeria and that is why their compassion is propelled by passion to achieve their objective. Though the conference will still hold on Saturday 31st of October, with few guests inside the main Auditorium of Redeem Christian Church of God, City of David, Victoria Island, with strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols. But, Arise Palliatives will be distributed to over 10,000 less privileged in the society across local government in Lagos and parts of the country simultaneously. The event which will also be televised live on Channels Television will attract millions of viewers around the world.

Over 10 wives of State Governors, Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, Special Adviser to the President on SDG, Mrs Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, top women in business circle are all expected at the event to encourage other women in the society. The theme of the conference, #DEEPLYROOTED will be used to address many societal issues facing the country, which the Convener is using the Foundation to address. Many of these problems, has been the focus of Arise Women, Curbing of Unemployment, provision of health facilities like Hospitals, Ambulances, Drugs and many more, The Conference will also be used to clamour for better wages for workers, dignity in labour, as well as call on government to productively make use of our human capital,

It will recalled that in the past years, Arise Women, has built in Lagos and parts of the country, Hospitals, Computerized libraries, Boreholes, Skills Acquisition Academy as well as Launched Arise Farmers Foundation. All these according to Dr Siju will be consolidated on this year, with palliatives for people during this year’s activities and conference.
