VeryDarkMan Drags Eniola Badmus Over Support For Tinubu
Nigerian social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan has taken a swipe at Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus over her recent statement.
Information Nigeria previously reported that the actress reaffirmed her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a stance that sparked criticism from several social media users.
It should be noted that the actress faced heavy criticism for openly supporting Tinubu both during and after the presidential election.
Many also alleged that her support was motivated by self-interest after she was appointed as a special adviser to the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abbas.
Reports indicate that many Nigerians have recently launched a 30-day rant challenge on social media to express their grievances and push for change. Amidst the widespread dissatisfaction, Eniola Badmus took to social media to reaffirm her support for President Tinubu’s administration.
On her official Instagram page, Eniola Badmus reiterated her continued support for Tinubu, regardless of the backlash.
Reacting to the controversy, VeryDarkMan stated in a video on Friday that celebrities who openly express their political views should not have the power to influence others.
He went on to say that Nigerians make themselves easy to deceive when they let a celebrity’s opinion shape their choices about the nation’s future.
VDM claimed that many celebrities who endorse politicians do so either for financial gain or the recognition that comes with it.
Captioning the post, he wrote, “Eniola Badmus other celebrities and the fulzsh Nigerians enabling them, until you know who you are. You will continue being sheep to the wrong shepherd.”
Mr Macaroni Slams Delta Nursing College For Threatening Student Over Viral Video Mocking First Lady
Comedian and activist Mr Macaroni has reacted to the Delta State College of Nursing Sciences’ decision to query and threaten disciplinary action against a student, Osato Edobor over a viral video mocking First Lady Oluremi Tinubu.
The comedian took to his X platform on Friday to criticise the school’s move, questioning why a student should face punishment for refusing to acknowledge Mrs Tinubu as their mother.
He wrote: “Delta State College of Nursing Sciences is threatening a student with disciplinary action because of song??? The students say dem sabi their mama!! Students wey their mama dey work hard to give them better life.. una wan come expel them because them refuse to deny their mama? Na by force???”
His reaction comes after a query issued to Edobor went viral on Friday. The document, signed by the college provost, Evbodaghe Rita Ogonne accused the student of singing, recording and posting the controversial video.
Edobor was given 24 hours to respond to the allegations. The query reads: “It has come to the notice of the school authority that you, Student Nurse Osato Edobor on the 25th of March, 2025 during official visit of the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON at Dome Event Center, Asaba for the Renewed Hope Initiative Health Programme and distribution of 10,000 Professional Kits (Crocs and Scrubs) to Midwives in each Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria South South Zone, was found to be engaged in malicious act of recording/singing and posting unofficial response to song during the arrival of the First Lady (found on your Tittok Page).”
The school further stated that her actions violated its Student Handbook under “standardised disciplinary action for some punishable offences No. 8, Page 21,” which makes it a punishable offence.
The controversy began during Mrs Tinubu’s visit to Asaba where an MC at the event attempted to lead student nurses in a praise song, referring to the First Lady as their mother.
The MC sang, “Na our mama be this o, we no get another one,” expecting the students to join in agreement. However, they responded, “Na your mama be this o eh,” rejecting the claim that she was their mother.
In another attempt, the MC added Mrs Tinubu’s name: “Na our mama be this o, Oluremi Tinubu.”
But the students stood their ground, singing, “Na your mama be this eh eh.”
The school’s decision to discipline Edobor has sparked widespread debate with many agreeing with Mr Macaroni that the students should not be punished for their response. The comedian’s statement reflects the growing criticism of the institution’s actions, as Nigerians continue to question whether rejecting the First Lady as their mother should lead to disciplinary consequences.
Annie Macaulay Breaks Silence, Drops “Idibia” From Surname

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has officially returned to Instagram following her failed marriage and time in rehabilitation.
On Thursday, the mother of two shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram page expressing gratitude to her family and friends for their unwavering support during her difficult times.
She appreciated the love she received and made it clear that she deeply values it.
However, one striking detail stood out—she no longer bears her ex-husband’s surname. In her closing remarks, she signed off as Annie Uwana Macaulay dropping Idibia entirely.
She wrote, “To my family, to my friends who came through for me, to the support system I have now, to all my amazing family HERE and all over the world. God Bless you for the outpouring of love. I appreciate every single one of you and I do not take any of it for granted. May the universe continue to be in your favour. God Bless You All. Lots of LOVE. Annie Uwana Macaulay.”
Her social media comeback follows 2Baba’s shocking announcement in January where he revealed their separation via an Instagram post that read, “I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now and currently filed for divorce.” Although he later deleted the post, he went live to confirm the news, saying, “No one hacked my account. I said what I said. I come in peace.”
Their split became even more evident when they unfollowed each other on social media, marking the official end of one of Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity marriages. Annie, who starred in his African Queen video before their 2012 wedding has openly spoken about the emotional toll of their relationship, including struggles with infidelity and personal challenges.
During an episode of Young, Famous & African, she shared the pain of experiencing a miscarriage and feeling sidelined in her own marriage.
Amid her struggles, blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus alleged that Annie was in rehab and in a very bad state. However, she reportedly had the support of singer Tiwa Savage and media personality Toke Makinwa who stood by her during her most challenging moments.
2Baba appears to have moved on. In February, a viral video showed him proposing to Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, a Nigerian politician representing Egor Constituency in the 8th Edo State House of Assembly under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The proposal sparked outrage and mixed reactions online.
On March 25, another video surfaced showing him and Natasha shopping at Seyi Vodi’s fashion store where she was heard saying, “Came shopping. Wearing this to parliament on Monday.”

“Rumours Can’t Shake Royalty. Ah, the gossips, hungry and sly, Spinning their tales, their desperate cry. ‘His arrest is coming!’ but who is he? Even they don’t know, it’s comedy!
“And Regina left? Oh, what a tale, When she’s right here, steady as hail. Wrapped in love, in laughter’s glow, Rocking our babies, watching them grow. Two beautiful sons, love’s sweetest dream.”
Dismissing claims of fathering a child outside his marriage, he added: “No rumoured child outside, That ship never sailed, Let them retire that story, tired and stale.
“Their lies will fade, their voices dim. Yet here we stand unmoved, untrimmed. For love like ours, built on steel, Doesn’t break, doesn’t kneel. Still standing, still thriving, unshaken, supreme.”
Nwoko further warned those spreading false stories about him, stating that he had placed a bounty on their heads.
“To the faceless gossip, the shadow behind a keypad, Your 15 minutes are on rewind. A bounty stands on your trail, 10 million strong, Tick-tock, tick-tock you won’t run for long.
“Enjoy your fame, your fleeting day, Truth will rise, as lies decay. My name is mine, my path is clear, Forward, onward, year by year.”
He then shared the news of their growing family, writing: “Just when they thought they had their say, baby number three is on the way! A new heartbeat, a love so grand, Another blessing in my hand.
“Let them talk, let them guess, While we live, while we bless. For at the end, when curtains close, It’s us, my love, that victory knows. Because love, true love, does not sway. It roars, it reigns, come what may.”
Following Nwoko’s post, Regina Daniels responded with an emotional message celebrating her husband and their love.
Taking to the comment section of his Instagram post, she wrote: “Oooh my king! The greatest man in Igbo land! Dike’m! Obim! Ezigbo dim Oma! What did I do to deserve this honour! 10,000 women by your right, 20,000 by your left and I will stand gidigba because what we share will remain the first in history.”
Her response comes amid online speculation about their marriage, fuelled by her removal of Nwoko’s name from her Instagram bio. Nwoko had titled his poem “Six Years Later…: She Still Can’t Resist Me”, marking their six-year marriage anniversary while making it clear that their bond remains unshaken despite public scrutiny.

He also shared that he has remained true to this promise and prayed for the strength to keep fulfilling it.
Reflecting on his challenges in 2024, Bobrisky admitted to experiencing severe hardship in Nigeria, suffering major financial setbacks.
Bobrisky faced a turbulent 2024, largely due to his clash with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which worsened after an audio leak allegedly exposed corruption within the commission.

In a now deleted post, he wrote, “Mummy !!! Mummy !!! I missed calling you mummy, that alone breaks my heart into pieces . After you left, a lot happen but we still thank God for life. ‘I Never Had Four Wives At The Same Time’
–Jide Kosoko

Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has clarified that he never had four wives at the same time.
He explained that he was married to two women but lost them and then married another two.
Featuring in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, the actor stated that he is “lucky” with polygamy because his wives and children are understanding.
He, however, said he is not advocating for polygamy, as not everyone could be as lucky as he is.
Kosoko said, “I didn’t have four wives at the same time o! Don’t get it wrong because people are not getting it. I had two, I lost them. I married another two.
“I am not supporting polygamy. Not everybody can be this lucky. Do you know that in some polygamous homes, you have mothers with different children and your own daughter’s or child’s birthday is tomorrow? Fortunately, we celebrated it elaborately. But when it comes to another child’s birthday, and I am not buoyant enough, my children and their mothers understand that with me.
“If it’s your birthday and I have money, I will do it. If your own comes when I don’t have money, that’s your fate. It’s a matter of luck with me. But you must have shown them that you love them all. You must have given them that love in other ways, so when it’s not coming at that material time, they will easily understand.
“Another one will tell me, ‘Daddy, anytime you get money, you still need to buy me something for my birthday.’ I will say, ‘By God’s grace, remind me.’ And when the money comes and they remind me, I give them what they ought to have got for their birthday.
“But don’t tell me that because I bought something for your co-wife’s son, I must also buy for your son. If you do so, you lose it. I won’t buy. That’s not the way I operate.”
