Sensational Female Act, Qissbow, Drops ‘Fowonlenu’

The name Ogunsote Baliqis Bukola, might not in any sense sound familiar in Nigeria music scene, but Qissbow is mentioned the bell would ring though, Qiussboss is still a fledgling in music industry but her recent effort is really selling her to music buffs.

Quissbow being the fifth runner-up in Airtel One Mic in 2014, has since never left stone unturned.

She recently set music scene ablaze with her club banging single, ‘Kast’ (Fowanlenu), produced by TeeQue.

 

Following a hiatus after her last outing when she released the visuals to her “Ojuelegba (a Wizkid cover)’ in June 2015, then released “Fowonlenu” single.

This Ijebu-born soloist, Qissbow has also styled popular acts such as X3M Music recording artiste, Simi, under the QissBow Inspired imprint.

 

“If I am in a happy mood” Qissbow said, “I write songs that reflect my happy mood and if for any reason I am sad and heartbroken, I just see myself doing songs that have to do with depression, disappointment and others that go with moody situations. I express these moods through different genres of music like hip hop, rap and R’n’B.”

 

 

Commending the Nigerian music industry for its creativity, especially with the way artistes of diverse music genres produce new songs and rejig old ones, Qissbow noted that there is still work to be done in the sector. According to her, the sector should be able to bring all artistes together to join forces with other agencies to fight piracy and protect their works.
