The home front of a popular journalist and enigmatic politician from a North Central State is presently boiling and this is authoritative.
The current mood in the domestic front of the Big Boy is not unconnected with a recent unplanned development which has left his wife, Yemisi, who hails from another neighbouring North Central State devastated.
The Senator and Yemisi both met as staff of NTA, Ilorin, some years back; the cord struck and they eventually tied the nuptial knot.
The union is blessed with lovely children who are schooling in London. Their eldest daughter is presently in love with a Dubai based Big Boy who is into the business of customizing gold for celebrities and top personalities.
However, trouble began recently when the senator allegedly put an Abuja based babe on a nine-month course. Incensed by the stroke from a man she had toiled with for so long and stood by during trying moments, the wife reportedly left the family’s residence for an unknown destination and only returned days later upon pressures by friends and relatives.
The development, according to a source,
has resulted into a cold war between the in-laws while the wife is bemoaning her fate in silence.
It was not clear, however, if the babe who was impregnated by the senator would be willing to terminate the pregnancy.
The two royal hotels owned by the Senator are leading hospitality outfits in the State where his wife comes from, and the hotels belong to the class that propelled the revolutionary drive of the hospitality industry in the State.
But the hospitality outfits are currently shadows of their former selves as they had been under reconstruction and rehabilitation since 2014, which has negatively affected patronages there.
The event center which is also owned by the Senator in the State, we gathered, has also recorded zero activities as the person billed to handle the project reportedly disappeared into thin air after being mobilized.
“The Senator is not really finding it funny, we should pity him and show understanding with him as he is currently facing challenges at the domestic, business and political fronts. But he was smart enough to have straightened relationship with a certain troublesome politician from his State, and decamped to the APC to save many things.
The on-going reconstruction of his two hotels in the State was also affected as the projects were allegedly stopped by the government before the ban was later lifted,” disclosed a source.
