There are indications that the Emirate Council in Ilorin, Kwara State, may turban the senate president, Bukola Saraki, the ‘Wazirin Ilorin’, anytime before August, 2018.
A reliable source within the Kwara State government house, told Global Excellence magazine that the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Zulukarnain Gambari, has concluded consultations with the Council which headed on the need to honour Bukola with the elevated title last occupied by his (Bukola’s father), the late Dr. Olusola Saraki, for it was collectively agreed that the senate president, like his father, has done and still doing so much for the development of Ilorin and Kwara State at large.
Recall that Bukola Saraki is facing a lot of challenges in the politics fronts at the moment. This coming title, the source said, is thought necessary by the Emirate to identify with Bukola in his trying moments.
